Green with Envy Mag @ Land Rover networking event

Envy Magazine hosted a fabulous networking event last night at the Land Rover dealership 7019 Old Katy Rd. Complimentary libations were flowing along with delicious hor'dourves. The first thing I noticed was the valet concierge's. They were very professionally dressed and welcomed me to the event as they extended their hand to escort me out of my vehicle. Hmm!! Okay y'all, I've got to be honest. I'm not a fan of valet's I even have a lil' name that I call them AutoPirate's because #1 I've been ripped off before ie. loose change in cigarette tray, Cd's etc. #2 Nowadays, they don't even park your car for you. You're basically paying to park yourself and that's not valet. #3 They usually don't speak English and have a stank attitude. #4 They peel off in your car like they're stealing it. Last and not least I don't tip them because #5 they always look up my skirt or dress or down my shirt when I'm getting out my car (y'all know everything we ladies wear today is short & low cut it's hard enough swinging your legs out of a car especially an SUV.) A free peek is all the tip you're gonna get from me ya nasty Autopirate's HrrrH!!. Anywho...This company is the exception Cruise Control Valet is owned by some young black entrepreneurs. I spoke with Director of Public Relations Shaunta S. Andrews and was very impressed the service I recieved as well as her presentation of their company motto World-Class Service & Southern Hospitality. Check them out for your next event http://www.cruisecontrolvalet.com/

What can be said about the luxurious brand name Land/Range Rover that hasn't been said before? I will personally say that in my opinion it is the echelon vehicle of success. Whether it be an classic ol school rugged body style or the current polished & streamlined exterior. W henever I see one on the road it always turns my head. I want to see who's inside. It' doesn't really matter who's behind the wheel... Soccer mom, business executive, "kepted" woman, nature lover, hood figure or professional athlete. Land/Range Rover is always a good look. Thanks to the people over at Land/Range Rover 4 people walked away with a complimentary weekend test drive. Congrats to the contest winners!!

I met alot of progressive people at the networking session here are a few you may want to be privy'd to know Tyffanie Bronaugh of TNT Management Public Relations & Image Marketing Specialist will be having a Casting call for her Modelling school for more info call 832 884 7975. Ms Bronaugh was accompanied by her associate Glambassador Johnetta T. Anderson. Terry W. Makeup/hair stylist http://www.terrywcreations.com/ had his networking game face on as he shared some of the beauty industry's secret's of success. Bre from season 3 of America's Next top Model is one of his many high profile career credits. Dj Big Reeks http://myspace.com/ricanm took a night off of the turntables to mixed it up with the crowd. Mark (on a first name basis, naw I'm lying I can't find his businesscard. I think I met him after the 2nd margarita but I will post info later.) President of Non Profit Lending for Amergy Bank won one of the 4 comp test drive packages.

All in all it was a successful networking event. Good looking out Envy Magazine!
