Contemporary Arts Steel Lounge Underground

Contemporary Arts Museum hosted an event called Steel Lounge Underground. DJ Candace Elliot and DJ Sun provided the grooves and the contemporary art on the walls provided the atmosphere. Guest were treated to a live performance by the Southern Backtones which also premiered their new video for their upcoming Cd release. The event was complete with a cash bar for cocktails. All in all it was a very refreshing grown and "sexy in the city" on the Friday night! It's a nice change of pace from your bar and club scene as well as a great place for a chic date or girls night on the town.

Girls night out at the Contemporay Museum.

Every woman who has watched an episode of Sex in the City knows that a night at the museum is a great place to show off your cute trendy outfit and cap the night off with drinks at a cool bar and that's just what I did. Hotel ZaZa is right around the corner and the bar was filled with fabulous folks chillaxin' after a hard work week. The whole scene was very sexy... the ambience was that of a night club with the exception of dance floor. People were engaged in conversation and socializing. I would've snapped a couple of photo's however ZaZa isn't so socialrazzi friendly. lol ;>
Social Privy Tip> Contemporary Arts Museum can be a great place to chill with your friends and explore your artistic side. Check the events calendar and invite a group of your friends to come out and chillax before heading out for a night on the town. Guys if you want to impress your date plan an stimulating evening at the museum. Or better yet if your single and tired of meeting the same type of mate... step outside your box. Tonight if I were a guy... I would've enjoyed the art on the wall as well as the real live breathing work of arts walking around the museum on a sexy Friday night.

Hope to see ya next time;>
