Weekend Wrap up

Erykah Badu did her thang at the Arena Theatre Friday night! It's always good to see our talented cousins from D'Town. Bruce Bruce killed it at the Improv all weekend long...I'm telling you people... seeing a comedian perform stand up on screen doesn't compare to live in the flesh especially when they start in on some fool in the crowd. (Ha Ha! Mike I told you to duck.) Solange Knowles wined things down at Boheme wine bar with friends after an awesome sold out performance at the rodeo. (I see ya doing "you" chicka...keep it going. Satuarday me and the girls had a night out in the tre'. Third Ward is becoming quite the lil' social scene lately with the all of the lounges and bars springing up. I heard about a new place called Tee's Lounge and decided to check it. Tee's lounge is located on Southmore across the highway and I have to give y'all the Denny's land mark so you'll know exactly which part of Southmore I'm talking about. This spot is unlike "The Spot" down the street at Tee's the crowd is more geared toward the young hood. It's a place where you don't have to throw on your best rags everyone is laid back and most of all it's a place where you can see how to do The Halle Berry, Rack Daddy, Stanky leg and da ichty coochie (ok the last one I made up but if people will do a dance called the Stanky Leg it's only a matter of time before the do the itchy coochie.)
