Houston Rockets forward Carl Landry was a victim of a drive by shooting early this morning (4:23am to be exact) downtown in the 3100 Block of Leeland. Apparently his vehicle was side swiped in what authorities are calling an attempted robbery. When Landry got out of his car to inspect the damage he was fired at twice and shot in the leg. Prior to the incident the Houston Rocket's charter jet had just arrived into Houston Hobby airport at approximately 12am from a victorious game over the Hornets in New Orleans. Landry lives in the downtown area and decided to go out and grab something to eat when the incident occurred. An associate of mine Ms. Tah Dah said it was also reported the injured Rocket ran for his life and had to knock on several doors begging for assistance and was repeatedly ignored. Can you imagine? Would you have opened your door for a bloody stranger at 4:30 in the morning? He was released from Memorial Hermann Hospital this morning.
God bless him my only question is why leave your house at that hour??!!! (Gettin' booty) Anyone who lives in Houston knows there are only two places to eat at that time and thats Whataburger and Denny's (none of which are downtown). My Ghetto CSI report is...This sounds more like he was leaving a late night creep session and was on his way home when the incident took place. Anywho! That's a grown ass man's bizness...I just want to know if that's the case then... DAMN! That trick ass heffa couldn't fix a brutha an after glow samich and some juice. Trifflin' ass hooker!
