Kid Cudi kicked the night off. I luv watching the fans interact with the artist...they knew every single lyric. That must be a wonderful feeling.
Fire! Is all I can honestly say about Estelle's performance tonight...She is definately a true artist. Grammy Award winning Estelle showcased her vocal range and talent throughout the night as she treated guest to tracks from her Shine Cd.
One of my favorite highlights from the show was her interaction with the audience and band members. I really got a kick when she invited a few people from the crowd to join her on stage. (One guy had a chance to dance with Estelle and got a case of stage fright...poor baby I know he's kickin' himself right now ;>)Of course the crowd went wild when she performed American Boy however I'm gonna say this to those of you who get stuck on one song and don't explore the full scope of the artist... Big mistake! Estelle gave the crowd a taste of everything reggae, soul, ol school you name it... Estelle gave the bizness! http://estellemusic.com/

It's my privilege to share with you some of the juicy tidbits that I've had the luxury of being privy to throughout my professional career in the entertainment industry. I've had the privilege of rubbing elbows with the rich, successful and famous. If you've ever found yourself wondering how they do it, or better yet "How can I Be down?" Well, Ponder no more. Celebrities are no different than you, they just have the inside track.
Quick history lesson: Queen of France Marie Anntionette knew this secret all to well. When informed of a severe bread shortage in her country the queen simply state "Let them eat cake!" This statement was grossly misinterpreted by the "haters" of her day. Marie Anntionette was only trying to give them some game. She was privy to the fact that french baker's were required to sell basic bread and fancy pastries at the same price making if fair for everyone to enjoy the finer things in life.
Allow me to give you an open passage across the thresold that is the imaginary velvet rope. So whenever you find yourself hungry for something new and fresh cut yourself a big slice of social privy and enjoy the good life. Let's eat!!!
