28th Annual Houston Chronicle Best Dressed Luncheon and Neiman Marcus Fashion Presentation Benefiting March Dimes and Saluting Oscar De La Renta.

The fashionable event raised $350,000 in behalf of March of Dimes an organization that supports babies born premature, birth defect prevention and also works diligently to increase birth immortality worlwide. Giving back is the Haute Trend that never goes out of style. Anything you do to contribute to the progress your humanity is a good look!

Best Dressed All Stars such as Pic 1> Dr Yvonne Cormier and Pic 2> Anita Smith among others kicked things off with a strut down the runway, showing The 2010 Honoree's how to rock it!!!

Miss Diva lady in (Pic 4) dominated that runway everytime she stepped on it...First Class Fly!!! (Pic 10) Diva Chick also gave the bizness ol Hollywood style... the sway of her hips in that gown made us all sea sick!!! (Pic 5) Madame Diva gave us " Step back and Please don't touch the art... Thank You!"

Social Privy Sidebar> So... everyday at around lunchtime my beloved mother calls her baby girl for a chat. Mind you she doesn't care what I'm doing, I just better answer the phone. So in anticipation of her call I steal away from the luncheon to chit chat. So I'm blaaah, blaaah and she's blaaah blaaah. All of a sudden I sqeaul Oscar! As Oscar De La Renta walks by me. I literally become star struck which for me is rare... He grabs my free hand and double kisses me on the both cheeks and strolls down the hallway. (Wooo I'm talkin about he has a fly-@ss sauve type swagger.) I'm just standing there cell in hand and all I can hear is my mother saying Blaah, Blaah, Blaaah... I put the phone back to my ear and say "Mom Oscar De La Renta just kissed me." She says "Oh that's nice and now what was I saying... oh yeah Blaagh, Blaagh and Blaagh." (Nothing phases mother's gotta luv em.)
